This mod makes use of the USB Power Adapter that i built earlier. It's an old processor fan that i found laying around the shop. I built this because it often gets stuffy in my office and i wanted a small fan that i could put basically anywhere.
All you need to build this mod is a fan (case fan would probably be better for this mod, as they're larger and quieter), the A side of a usb cable, and a binder clip (optional).
All you have to do is solder the red wire to the red wire and the black wire to the black wire and your done! A very simple mod to make for a really cool little fan.
To make feet for this particular model, all you need to do is take the wires off of a large binder clip and feed them through the screw holes in the fan
I later added some glue into the holes to keep the legs from moving around.
